I feel like it's more of a puzzler than a hack and slash. The new Gauntlet game comes out on Tuesday. I have Diablo 3 and while it's great, it's a little too different to be put in the same category from a controls/interface standpoint. Could compete against Diablo games and the Torchlight IP. Even bought the Multi-tap thingy to play with 4 players on the same ps2. I had forgotten the name of it until now, so thank you so much for reminding me. We tried Diablo but it isn't really the same. Diablo 3 is truly the closest I've tried, the only thing it really needs is skill trees and just a better interface (or just one similar to Champions). I absolutely loved Champions of Norrath! In Champions: Return to Arms, you can imbue weapons with special abilities. Normal Game: Lets you start a game with 1-4 players. Gauntlet is pretty fun, but there's no loot and very shallow RPG aspect which I think is a big part of what made Champions fun. Sony has more than enough money and resources to make this happen. Play Missions lets you pick between Adventurous, Courageous, Champion, or Legendary. It allows you to continue the button-mashing exploits you began in Champions of Norrath, … By that time I couldn’t find it and didn’t want to pay the outrageous online price (as internet wasn’t as big as it is today).
